Who's Ryan Rusdi?

A 21 year old artist who originates from one of the islands located in East Malaysia which is W.P Labuan. Found the love of art since 7 years old and currently pursuing his Diploma in ASWARA to dive more into the art scene while exploring all sorts of art forms. Enjoys using different techniques whether conventional or unconventional to portray his ideas to be more direct while satisfying one’s curiosity. The artist uses his experiences and situations as his main idea for each artwork giving depths and perspective to leave questions for the audiences to ponder

Ryan, who’s practice spans from drawing, painting, printmaking, and socially engaged projects, with a strong focus on narrative translation and visual storytelling. He has exhibited in platforms such as the Sayembara Lukisan Karya Agung Cetusan Bakat Mahasiswa “Manifestasi Dua Seni” (2025), Signum Art Exhibition at Universiti Malaya, Telur Pecah 4.0 at GMBB KL (2024), and the Blue Print Red Edition International Printmaking Exhibition at Gallery Ilham UiTM Shah Alam and more.

Beyond exhibitions, he actively engages with communities through facilitation work such as “Blind Art Project”, workshops, mural projects, and public art initiatives, reflecting his commitment to making art both expressive and socially impactful.
